You can’t use the missed assessments process to apply for an extension — please see the five working day extensions information instead. In this situation you don’t need to use one of the personal circumstances processes. It will depend on whether you have any modules outstanding at the end of the academic year. If you experience a major circumstance that has the potential to affect your ability to submit a piece of coursework, you may be eligible to apply for a five working day extension. You may be eligible to apply under the missed assessments process instead.

Missed assessments process
ALL deadlines for work submitted online will be extended by an additional 24 hours. Please be aware that if concerns are raised by the information you provide on the form, it may be passed to the Student Support Advice or Disability Service who may then contact you.
